Wisdom teeth....
Well Monday finally rolled around and 10:30 came quicker than I wanted. It was finally time to get my wisdom teeth removed. I was dreading that day and kept putting it off. But I knew if I put it off anymore it would only be more painful. I don't do good with pain and try to avoid it as much as possible but who doesn't. I decided that I was going to get the laughing gas to numb the pain because I don't do well with needles and didn't want the IV in me. I figured it shouldn't be to bad. When the Dr. walked in the room to start the surgery I was feeling pretty nervous. I was pretty numb when he started so I didn't feel to much. Once he started to pull the teeth that's when the pain hit me. There was so much pressure and he would tell me the tooth was out and then continue to pull on the same tooth. It was terrible. I hated hearing my teeth loosening up and the roots coming out. It made me cringe. Finally I was all sewed up and the procedure was over. Thank god! The first day of recovery was the worst. I slept the pain away. The next two days were better and I'm thankful to say no dry sockets. I heard those were the worse. I made sure to follow all the rules so that wouldn't happen. I'm glad to say it's finally over!

Ya I feel your pain. I had mine removed 2 days before Christmas a couple year ago. I was very lucky though because when they took my x-rays they found another tooth running horizontal in my bottom gums so they had no choice to put me asleep. They had to end up cutting that tooth out in pieces and then they took all 4 wisdom teeth. When I woke up I didn't feel any pain and was able to talk. I wasn't able to eat solids or anything for a couple days which meant till after Christmas! It was very sad, but my grandma took care of me and cooked me soft foods that I liked and could eat. No one else was allowed to have them either. So I personally didn't have a bad experience but I know my older sister and a few friends of mine who have been in so much pain like you were. Hope you are starting to feel better though.
