a night to remember....
Around this time last year my friend Jordyn and I got in our first accident and hopefully one of our last. It all started on a saturday night when we decided to go to a friends bonfire. After being there for a couple of hours we heard about another party and thought we would go even though we didn't know where it was at. We got directions from a friend and we attempted to go find it. About 25 minutes later we finally got to the town it was in and know we just needed to find the house. We saw a couple of vehicles in front of us and thought that we should follow them in case they were going to the same party. They were qutie aways in front of us but we could still the tail lights. As we turnt down a back road and driving along out of no where, a deer jumped out in front of us. Jordyn slammed on her brakes causing the car to do 180 and then we slammed into the ditch and the car flipped on its side. Both in shock we climbed out of the drivers side window since there was no way of getting out of mine. Both of our phones had no service so we had to walk up road and try to get service. We had no luck so our next thought was to go knock on someones door even though it was midnight we had no other choice. The houses we went to, no one answered the door. Finally we found some service out in this field and we got ahold of some friends and did our best to explain where we were even though we kept losing service. We walked back to the car and waited there for our friends and when they showed up they told us they already called the police to file the report. The cops came, filed the report and let us on our way, no tickets. That night was probably one of the scariest nights and I never want to experience anything like that again. All that matters though, is that we have a great friends and we both didn't get hurt. Sunday will be a year since the wreck.

I’m glad that you and your friend survived the accident without any problems. I’ve been in a couple car accidents myself. Everyone ended up being okay after all of them but the experience of just being in a car accident is scary enough itself. A car accident is something you never forget. Whenever I hear about people who have died in car accidents, I just look back and remember the accidents that I’ve been in and how things could have gone very wrong but they didn’t and it makes me appreciate life even more and it reminds me that I shouldn’t waste this life that I’ve been given.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe this way a year ago! I remember this all happening around that time we met and how scary it was. I'm so glad that everything ended up ok and that you and Jordyn didn't get hurt. It scary to think how fast and unexpected accidents can happen. I am still amazed that you two were able to get reception anywhere in that area, it's literally in the middle of nowhere!
