I need a vacation!
I really need to get away for awhile and I need to catch a break from everything. I really want to go to Mexico again. It is beautiful there. The beaches are amazing. The only bad thing about it is the mexicans..i cant understand there language even though I have taken two years of spanish I still struggled when i went there. I could hardly pick up a single word they were saying. But the ocean and the beach make up for me not being able to understand them. I'm hoping that spring break I can go to Flordia with a big group of my friends and we can all relax and have a good time.
Snow!!
So the weather people keep saying that we are supposed to get all this snow...i really hope that they are wrong. I am not ready for it just yet. It can at least wait til Monday. My friends and I have a concert on Sunday and we got a party bus and I really hope that we don't have to cancel it if the weather gets bad.
Besides that..this week has been stressful. Finals say it all. Nothing is more stressful than trying to jam everything together and study for all of the exams. Luckily I only have two I really need to focus on. The other one I am not really worried about. But in the end it will all pay of because we get almost a month off. Can't wait for break to see all my friends that go away to college. I am also looking foward to Christmas!

Jinglefest 2010!
Last year, a big group of my friends all got tickects to go to Jinglefest. Jinglefest is a country concert that features 3 different groups. Last year it was the Zach Brown Band, Justin Moore, and Chris Young. The best part is that all the tickets are free. Which makes it that much better. We decided that since we didnt have to pay for the tickets we were going to get a party bus since there was 20 of us. It was probably one of the best decisions. It was a blast and was so worth the money. When we got there we even got featured on the radio because 92.3 Wil saw all of us get off the bus and said that was the way to go. Well Jinglefest is right around the corner so we decided to keep the tradition going and get another bus. This time we had to go alittle bigger because we have 30 people going this year. But the more the merrier! I cannot wait! This year Justin Moore and The Band Perry is playing.
Christmas!!
I can't believe that December is already here and before we know it Christmas is going to be here. I love getting in the spirit for the holidays. Getting all the Christmas decorations and tree up is what really makes me get in the spirit. My family talked about going away for the hoildays and going to the beach. But i don't agree with that.I'd rather stay at home and spend the holidays with my family and be in our house with our christmas tree. Spending it somewhere else just wouldn't be worth it. Tonight ABC family started their 25 days til christmas countdown and tonight they played how the grinch stole christmas. A classic! Now that decorations are up, its time to start buying presents for everyone.

Wisdom teeth....
Well Monday finally rolled around and 10:30 came quicker than I wanted. It was finally time to get my wisdom teeth removed. I was dreading that day and kept putting it off. But I knew if I put it off anymore it would only be more painful. I don't do good with pain and try to avoid it as much as possible but who doesn't. I decided that I was going to get the laughing gas to numb the pain because I don't do well with needles and didn't want the IV in me. I figured it shouldn't be to bad. When the Dr. walked in the room to start the surgery I was feeling pretty nervous. I was pretty numb when he started so I didn't feel to much. Once he started to pull the teeth that's when the pain hit me. There was so much pressure and he would tell me the tooth was out and then continue to pull on the same tooth. It was terrible. I hated hearing my teeth loosening up and the roots coming out. It made me cringe. Finally I was all sewed up and the procedure was over. Thank god! The first day of recovery was the worst. I slept the pain away. The next two days were better and I'm thankful to say no dry sockets. I heard those were the worse. I made sure to follow all the rules so that wouldn't happen. I'm glad to say it's finally over!

First tattoo
A couple weeks ago, my best friend and I decieded out of no where that we wanted to go out on a limb and get matching tattoos. Crazy right? We decided we were going to meet up after class on a Friday and go and get them and not back out. We were going to do it no matter what. Well the Friday finally rolled around and class was almost over for me but she still had an hour or so. I had a little more time to prepare. I was so nervous, it was my first tattoo. For her, this was her third. So she wasn't as nervous as I was. She met me at my house and we headed out to Hecker to the new tattoo place. We walked inside and thats when it hit me. I was a nervous wreck but I was going to go through with it. He asked us what we wanted and we decided to get something basic..lips on our asses. Some people are like why would you choose that for your first tattoo? If you knew me and my friend you would understand. We like to be different then everyone else and we really don't care what people think. We wanted to get something small and somewhere where no one would really see it unless you showed them. This was the first thing that came to mind. He got everything ready and he was ready to start. I was not about to go first so I made my friend. After I saw that it wasn't that painful I was more at ease to do it. Finally it was my turn. It wasn't what I expected. It was more of an annoyance then pain and it only took about 10 minutes and it was over. I still cant believe we did it but I think it was well worth the experience. When we tell people, they just look at us like we are crazy and are like I can't believe you would do something like that and just laugh.

favorite time of the year
This is the time of year that i look foward to the most. I love all the things that lead up to Halloween. You know that it's getting close when the leaves start changing colors and the weather gets cooler. I love going to haunted houses and haunted trails. Tonight a group of friends and I are all going to the haunted trail in waterloo. That is one of my favorite places to go. I get scared really easy and walking through a trail with people jumping out at me usually freaks me out. One if my friend that goes, when she screams I think you can hear her all the way on the other side. I am also looking forward to all the hayrides. From here on out up until the weekend of halloween, I have hayrides. Can't wait. I love all the chili cook-offs, my town is having theres this weekend and i'm looking foward to it.

a night to remember....
Around this time last year my friend Jordyn and I got in our first accident and hopefully one of our last. It all started on a saturday night when we decided to go to a friends bonfire. After being there for a couple of hours we heard about another party and thought we would go even though we didn't know where it was at. We got directions from a friend and we attempted to go find it. About 25 minutes later we finally got to the town it was in and know we just needed to find the house. We saw a couple of vehicles in front of us and thought that we should follow them in case they were going to the same party. They were qutie aways in front of us but we could still the tail lights. As we turnt down a back road and driving along out of no where, a deer jumped out in front of us. Jordyn slammed on her brakes causing the car to do 180 and then we slammed into the ditch and the car flipped on its side. Both in shock we climbed out of the drivers side window since there was no way of getting out of mine. Both of our phones had no service so we had to walk up road and try to get service. We had no luck so our next thought was to go knock on someones door even though it was midnight we had no other choice. The houses we went to, no one answered the door. Finally we found some service out in this field and we got ahold of some friends and did our best to explain where we were even though we kept losing service. We walked back to the car and waited there for our friends and when they showed up they told us they already called the police to file the report. The cops came, filed the report and let us on our way, no tickets. That night was probably one of the scariest nights and I never want to experience anything like that again. All that matters though, is that we have a great friends and we both didn't get hurt. Sunday will be a year since the wreck.

Crazy week!
So this week has been nothing but crazy. I can't seem to catch a break. If it's not one thing it's the other. Trying to balance work and school, it's almost impossible to make time for homework and any other things that need to be done. The days I don't have school I have work for 9 hours and even on the days i go to school I have work after. I can't complain to much because there is many other people who do the same thing everyday to but it's just a lot to take in. I shouldn't of took the semester off of school after I graduated. I can't seem to get back into the groove of school and all the work that comes with it. I know i'm capable of doing it though. I just have to push myself to do it. All I can say is that I'm ready for the weekend!!

Loving this weather!
Now that summer is coming to end and fall is coming the weather is starting to get nicer. Fall is by far my favorite time of the year. I love bonfires, hayrides and the leaves changing colors. This weather we have had the past week has been perfect for bonfires. Last weekend I went to my first one of the season. I can't wait for more to come. Last Sunday my friend and I decided to take a little road trip since the weather was nice. We drove to Chester and we decided to eat at this restraunt called Reid's Harvest House. One of our friends told us we should try it. It lend up being very good. We ended the day by going to a friend's house and riding four-wheelers for the rest of the night.Perfect way to end the day. Bring on the fall!!

About me....
My name is Jessica Galle, I'm 18 years old and I live in Millstadt, IL. I live with my mom, dad, and brother. I have two dogs, a golden retriever named Marley and a shih-tzu named fe-fe.This is my first year at SWIC,a little overwhelming but it should be a good experience. I plan to transfer over to Edwardsville after I get my associates in arts. I'm a pretty laid back person. I'm all about having a good time. For the most part I get along with everyone. When i'm not working I spend most of my time with friends and family. I love anything that has to do with being outdoors, such as riding four wheelers and fishing.
